Macau was a Portuguese colony for more than 400 years. European architecture, cobbled squares and historic churches still shape the city today, while Chinese traditions remain deeply rooted in everyday life.
Besides its historic attractions, Macau is internationally famous for its spectacular casino and hotel resorts. After sunset, colourful lights create an excellent environment for architecture and night photography.
