My journey began in Alicante and took me through Zurich to Johannesburg. There, I was greeted right after leaving the plane by a Fedair staff member. He accompanied me through immigration control and waited together with me for my suitcase.
With my luggage, we went outside where his transporter was already waiting. We drove around the airport to Fedair’s check-in area. I didn’t have to worry about a thing and immediately felt well looked after. A truly wonderful service!
After checking in, I still had about an hour and a half before my connecting flight. I spent that time in the beautifully designed lounge. A pleasant break to catch my breath after the first two flights.
When it was time for the next flight, I was guided through security. Then I boarded the plane that would take me to the Weststrip in Madikwe. The next leg of my journey could begin.
At the Weststrip, my ranger was already waiting. He helped me with the local formalities before we headed on to the lodge. After the flights and transfers, I had finally arrived in Madikwe—excited for what was waiting for me there.
